Refuge Vows are related to being a Buddhist:
Refuge Vows

The Pratimoksha Vows, or 'Freedom' (from samsara) Vows are:
1. Lifetime layman - 5 vows (same as 2: not killing, stealing, lying, sexual misconduct, intoxicants, see Refuge Vows)
2. Lifetime laywoman - 5 vows (same as above)
3. Novice Monk - 36 vows
4. Novice Nun - 36 vows
5. Intermediate Nun - 42 vows
6. Fully Ordained Monk - 253 vows
7. Fully Ordained Nun - 364 vows
